When Underwood maneuvered his way into the Vice President position under President Walker in Season 2, he came back into contact with Blythe. This time around, however, Blythe wasn't quite as easy to win over. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donald Blythe of Mount Carmel, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 66, on March 25, 2021. His friend Richard Mabey remembers it being commissioned by Viking as the lead title for a short-lived series on village life around the world.
